Greenvein Tree Trip in Kerala

Green vein Tree Trip which started from Himalaya on 7th May 2015 is a campaign to spread the importance of Tree-Life in present world. It is aimed  to cover  all the 676 districts of  India addressing students of Colleges and Schools, Village groups and communities. Swami Samvidanand, Chief Coordinator of Green vein started his journey alone, and reached Kerala on 7th June. Here, State and District coordinators and volunteers joined him. Starting from Kasargod, Tree Trip planted saplings and distributed seeds on all the 14 districts of Kerala, and conducted discussions, debates and seminars on the  importance of Trees in this era of global warming. The first session of this trip  ended at Kanyakumari on 27th June 2015 by planting a Banyan tree at Vivekananda Kendra. In the Second Phase of Tree Trip, Green vein will travel to each district of every state.
